The Seventh Sense (1999) – Storyline/Plot:
A blind street musician, shut off from everything but her music, begins working with a reclusive composer who uses sensual metaphors as teaching tools. Farce with the possibility of regaining her eyesight she fears she will lose her musical inspiration.
Review of The Seventh Sense (1999 Film):
Man, this movie was boring. Here’s the plot (try not to get too excited now). There’s this blind woman. She plays the cello on the beach. She gets hired by this ugly Russian guy to help him perform his newest concerto. He’s been sitting around getting drunk since his wife died. She can’t play very well so he helps her get better by having sex with prostitutes. This makes her go sleep with her roommate’s boyfriend.
Not even the sex scenes can redeem this movie. I’m not even sure how many of them there were since they were filmed so “artsy” that half the time, I couldn’t figure out if I was even watching sex. And the ones that were clearly sex scenes weren’t very memorable.
Oh man, If you’re looking for a sexy film – rent “9 1/2 Weeks” – this is nothing more than porn. Notice that the only place it gets played is on the Playboy channel. Big surprise! The same girls you see naked and ACTIVE (and then some) in this flick have also been seen on the pages of Playboy. Talk about leaving nothing to the imagination! (Close your eyes mom-I promise I won’t bring her home.) This “film” really didn’t have a story to tell. It was just another orgy set to music. The violin may have class but this project does not.
